Modern Spanish & Irish Flavours
Boqueria food market in La Ramblas, Barcelona is not just a place to visit, it's an experience. Famous for spices, fresh fruit, vegetables, meat/fish, amazing tapas and all things related to the best of Spanish Food.
A product of Chef Matt Fuller and his business partners, it was decided that Dublin needed a restaurant combining the Spanish and Irish Food ethos without restricting themselves to any one style. The name Boqueria seemed like the choice for a restaurant which aspires to offer its own unique experience in great modern cuisine & tapas, carefully chosen Spanish wines, enjoyed in an informal setting.
Having recently won 'Best World Cuisine' at the Irish Restaurant Awards and been voted 'Ireland's Favourite Place to Eat' at the Keelings Gold Medal Awards by the Irish Public, Boqueria has gone from strength to strength since opening in Stoneybatter in mid 2015.
In November 2016 we relocated our restaurant to a larger premises on Church Street in Howth which allows us to expand our menu spread our wings a little in terms of what we can produce creatively. On the ground floor you will find our new Brasserie serving simpler, high quality dishes the with a menu which is a little bit different but cooked with the same flair and passion with which we create with our Tapas menu. Our Tapas Restaurant (Opening Late 2016) on the first floor will be more familiar to previous Boqueria patrons, only this time your dining experience comes with stunning sea views of the beautiful Howth Harbour. This will be the perfect setting to allow Chef Matt and his team to produce what we believe is up there with Dublin's finest offerings.
Most of our original team are coming to Howth with us so consistency is guaranteed. The building itself is beautiful, steeped in History with great views and a lovely place to visit. We hope to see you there.
